Family Vacations

Welcome to Go Everywhere Travels first blog.

I thought I would start by blogging about something that I know about very well, traveling with young children.
Many people would say my husband and I were crazy, traveling to Mexico, Punta Cana, and Disney twice a year with 4 small children.  But, if you do your homework properly, you can all have a great trip, without too much chaos.
First and probably most important, pick a destination that is right for your whole family.   For example, when we visited Cancun, we stayed at an all inclusive hotel that had a kids club.   Our children (we only had 3 then) had the option of going in to play for a few hours.   Even though at first they were very hesitant, by the last night, they were up on stage dancing in the kids show the resort put on. We checked in frequently, and had to pull them out at the end.   The most important reason for a kids club, is not only for the adults to get some relaxation, but for the kids to get out of the sun!  Cancun is very hot, all year round.   Often by the time you realize you got too much sun, the damage is done.   The children stayed in a nice air conditioned playroom,  and had a great break from the mid day heat. That made for happy children which equals happy parents!

Great deals can be had all year round for all inclusive family resorts.  If you do some planning ahead, talk to a great travel agent, do your homework and compare pricing, I am confident you can find a location that suites all your families needs.
